Yellow Floral Dresser Limoges Box

A little yellow dresser, its front brightened with painted flowers, looks ready to move into the finest dollhouse on the block. This hand-painted porcelain Limoges box was made in Limoges, France, and it captures a bedroom classic in miniature.

Drawers Full of Sunshine

Miniature furniture has a special pull because it lets you build whole rooms on a single shelf. Yellow gives this chest a sunny, cottage feel, and the floral decoration keeps it soft rather than bold. It reads like a piece from a farmhouse bedroom where the morning light pours in.

Furnishing a Tiny Bedroom

• Painted by hand in Limoges, France
• Fits a miniature furniture, bedroom or floral collection
• Pairs well with the antique vanity chair box for a small room scene

Cottage Charm on the Nightstand

Set it on a nightstand, a vanity or the shelf of a curio cabinet beside other little furnishings. It makes a cheerful present for a new homeowner, a dollhouse hobbyist or a friend who just finished redecorating a guest room. Anyone who loves yellow kitchens, sunflowers or French country style will see their own taste reflected in it.
