Tall White Cylinder Porcelain Limoges Box

Clean, tall and quietly elegant, this white cylinder is about as simple as a Limoges box gets, and that is its charm. The porcelain was made and finished in Limoges, France, and its plain white ground lets the shape speak for itself.

A Column of Pure White

Without color or pattern, the eye goes straight to the proportions: a tall, straight sided column that looks crisp on any surface. White porcelain from Limoges has a soft glow that changes subtly with the light through the day.

Plays Well With Others

• A calm backdrop for brightly painted boxes around it
• Suits a minimal, modern or all white interior
• Fits a traditional shapes collection alongside oval and round pieces

Quiet Spots, Thoughtful Gifts

Place it on a bathroom counter for cotton swabs, on a desk for paper clips, or on a bedside table for earrings at night. It makes a tasteful wedding shower present, a housewarming thank-you for someone with a pared back style, or a starting point for a monogram collector.

Sometimes the simplest piece on the shelf is the one you reach for every day.
