Tall and shaped like a classical urn, this canister box wears soft, light tones with flowers painted across its surface. It is a hand-painted Limoges box decorated by hand in Limoges, France.
An Urn From the Orangery
The upright canister form recalls the garden urns and apothecary jars of grand old houses, scaled down to sit on a shelf. Light colors keep it airy, while the painted flowers bring a gentle, garden fresh note to the tall silhouette.
The Centerpiece of a Grouping
Because it stands taller than most pill boxes, this urn works beautifully as the focal point of a cluster. Arrange flat rounds, ovals and hearts around its base and it pulls the whole arrangement together, much like a tall vase in the middle of a flower bed.
