Sunshine Flat Round Porcelain Limoges Box

A bright sun shines from the lid of this low, round porcelain pill box, as if a summer morning has been captured in miniature. It is a hand-painted Limoges box, painted by hand in Limoges, France.

Here Comes the Sun

The flat round shape works like a little canvas, keeping the sunny design front and center. It is a simple, happy image, and one that seems to warm whatever corner of the room it sits in.

Day and Night Pairings

• Pairs naturally with the moon and stars flat round box
• Fits a celestial, sky, summer or weather themed collection
• Looks cheerful beside sunflower, beach and garden pieces

A Ray of Light for the Occasion

Send it as a get well wish, a congratulations for someone starting a new chapter, or a birthday present for a friend born in the height of summer. It also makes a lovely way to say you are my sunshine to a daughter, a sister or a spouse.

Place it on a breakfast table, a sunny windowsill or a bedside stand where it can greet the morning. Collectors of celestial pieces often keep it next to its moon and stars partner so day and night share the same shelf.
