A cat has claimed a green chair as its own, settled in with the air of a creature that knows exactly who runs the house. This porcelain figurine box was hand-painted in Limoges, France.
The Best Seat in the House
Anyone who shares a home with a cat knows the favorite chair is never really yours. This piece turns that familiar household truth into a charming scene, pairing a green chair with a feline occupant who has no plans to move.
Curling Up on the Shelf

Pairs nicely with the plain green chair box and other cat pieces
For the Cat's Staff
It makes a fun present for a new cat adopter, a cat sitter, a feline rescue volunteer or a friend whose furniture bears the marks of a beloved tabby. Set it on a side table, a reading corner shelf or a windowsill where real cats like to sun themselves.
The green of the chair keeps the look fresh and calm, a color that blends well with country and cottage rooms. Hand painting means the shade varies a touch from piece to piece.
