Blue Rectangle Limoges Box with Flowers and Dark Blue Rings

Painted flowers bloom inside a frame of dark blue rings on this rectangular porcelain box, a crisp mix of floral softness and bold outline. It is a hand-painted Limoges box made in Limoges, France, in a traditional style that suits both older and newer collections.

Rings Around the Garden

The dark blue rings work like a picture frame, drawing the eye inward to the flowers. It is a framing idea that suits a small rectangle well, giving the floral design a sense of order and calm without losing any of its softness.

Blue Ribbon Pairings

Vanity Trays and Bedside Tables

Set it on a vanity tray, a bedside table or in a curio cabinet, where its straight edges keep a row of boxes looking neat. It makes a considered present for a gardener's birthday, a thank-you for a book club host, or a Mother's Day token for someone who loves blue in every room of the house. Tucked among round and oval boxes, the rectangle adds a quiet bit of structure.
