Baby Present with Yellow Ribbon Limoges Box

Shaped as a wrapped present tied up with a yellow ribbon, this porcelain box celebrates the arrival of a new baby. It is a hand-painted Limoges box made in Limoges, France, from the special occasion line.

The Best Present of All

A new baby is often called the best present a family can receive, and this piece puts that idea into porcelain. The yellow ribbon keeps it cheerful and works for any new arrival, whether the nursery is done in pink, blue or soft neutrals.

Bundles of Joy

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• Suits a baby, birthday or special occasion group
• Pairs with the pram, stroller egg and teddy bear pieces

Showers and First Birthdays

Bring it to a baby shower, tuck it into a hospital visit basket, or save it for a first birthday party. On a nursery dresser or bookshelf it makes a sweet reminder of the day the family grew. Grandparents often like one for their own homes too, set beside a framed photo of the newest grandchild.

Many Limoges boxes are painted by hand after the white porcelain is fired, and their metal mounts are fitted by hand as well. That careful handwork makes a fitting match for such a happy occasion.
