This set brings together the 8-inch and 10-inch frying pans from Cristel®’s 1826® collection. Their brushed 18/10 stainless steel bodies sit on 3-ply thermodiffusing bases of induction stainless steel, aluminum, and 18/10 stainless steel, while the tapered silhouette recalls the factory’s 19th-century stamped-cookware heritage. Both sizes are designed to stack compactly, giving a serious stainless-steel foundation without unnecessary bulk.

“If I were building a kitchen from the beginning, stainless steel frying pans would come before specialty coatings. Eight and ten inches cover an extraordinary amount of daily cooking, and good pans improve with familiarity because you learn their heat rather than replacing them when fashion changes.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Maker / Heritage

Cristel® manufactures cookware at Fesches-le-Châtel in France, a site with a long industrial history in stamped cookware. The company works extensively in 18/10 stainless steel, integrates more than 90% of its production in-house, and holds the French Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant designation; qualifying products also carry Origine France Garantie certification. Cristel® designs for durability, repairability, and long service rather than short replacement cycles.
